Hey everybody!!!

Welcome to the BRAND SPANKIN NEW Blog site for PHATBOI PRODUCTIONS... To give you a run down PhatBoi Productions is a MUSIQAL production group, with producers who are real musicians and actually understand the boundaries of being musical and commercial at the same time, when it comes to the material. PLEASE take a moment to read the following to get to know the members and how the team came about!

 Allen 'BizKit' Arthur
He is a saxophonist who has been playing since the age of 10 years old. His main strong points in production are DRUMZ, Vocal Arrangement, Musical Arrangement, Horn section arrangement and leadership qualities are magnificent!

Clayton 'Gravy' Reilly
He is trumpet player and graduate from the University of Arts College in Philadelphia.
His strong points are ballad piano style songs. His is a great vocal arranger harmonically. The harmonies he comes with are beautiful.

Keith 'Butta' Justice
He is a pianist who has graduated from Long Island University. His main strong points are of course the piano or any Keyboard related ideas. Good vocal arranger, and musical arrangements.

"Its been quite a Journey for us all. How we came 2gether and where we are now is FREAKIN AMAZING!!!" says BizKit.

It all started with BizKit and Butta. They both went to the Creative and Performing Arts High School in Philadelphia. Under the Tutelage of Kevin Rodgers they both played in the Jazz Band where the two became close. They actually formed their own band while in High School. The name of the band was Rhythm Changes. They would play for churches, art events, funerals, showcases and clubs thoughout Philly. It was until they played for the gospel choir at their school where they learned that they could really arrange and conduct music. BizKit lead the hornsection while Butta Musical Directed the rest of the band. They knew at a young age music is what they wanted to do. After high school Butta went on the college. Bizkit had decided that he was going to attempt to thrive in the Philadelphia music scene. It was hard for Biz because its not easy to work as a musician or to get gigs. But he found a way through always networking and pushing to get to that next step. So Bizkit got to the point where he played for almost every single group or gospel artist in Philly. He became a part in the Hornsection 'UHORNZ'. This was where he met Gravy. The group began to gain a huge name in the Philly Scene. After a while they began to do studio work. The most notable they got a chance to work with is Rodney "DarkChild" Jerkins. From the sessions came the Beyonce Knowles record "DeJaVu". After that The section began playing for secular artists in Philly. After being seen and always heard they auditioned for Sean "Puffy/Diddy" Combs where they had there first taste of touring. After a short run they were released from the band. That made the group discouraged and it drove BizKit to try somethin else.  One day his grandmother said to him why can't he be DarkChild. That made him think YEAH WHY NOT. "While at the studio wit Rodney I would stay in the room after we were done our horn section parts, and watched him and his producers make tracks from scratch and it was an amazing experience, I learned a lot from that." BizKit then called up high school classmate Butta and told him his new idea and told him, "LETS PRODUCE MUSIC". He loved the new idea that BizKit gave him and the two of them, wheneva Butta came home from College for breaks or just the weekend, would create music from scratch for HOURS and HOURS!!! "It would be like 2Am and my mom would call me on my cell phone and say I have to stop, we couldnt do it so we turned it down as low as we could until the phone calls stopped, we were getting better and better everyday." BizKit and Gravy later auditioned for John Legends band. After three auditions Bizkit won a spot in the band and toured with JL for a year. While Gravy toured wit Corrine Bailey Rae and performed for other numerous artists( he joined John Legend's band a year later) . BizKit never knew that Gravy also produced so. the two started working on production also. So it was at this inevitable for the three to start a team. So now Phat Boi was born (Philly PhatBoi, LLC). The three PhatBois went on to build their name by work with various artists and they have a lot of situations going on from the relationships that they have built over the years of networking and grinding always.

Now that you know about PhatBoi please look out for music from the following artists and watch their careers build from all of the hard work they have done so far.
